This isn’t a deep-dive review, but rather a personal look at what I like and don’t much like about each - and the main points of difference between the two. I’m a longtime user of both applications, so I’ve taken a look at the latest version of each for Windows, macOS, iPad, iPhone, and Android. But they also have some very distinct differences. It indicates the period when Evernote will be synchronized with the online storage.OneNote and Evernote are available for all the major desktop and mobile OSes, they can each sync your notes to all of your devices and the web, and both promise to be the only note-taking app you need. Even more, to be able to use the application it's necessary to create a free user account that allows you to upload up to 40 MB of data each month with the following limitations: 20,000 text notes, 270 online cuts, 11 photographs of a high resolution, 40 audio cuts, etc. The stored information in Evernote is accessible from any place or device with Internet. The search-engine finds search results in textual compositions as well as in graphics. One of the most remarkable features of Evernote is that it's capable of recognizing text in the stored images, although for this it first needs to process the images. The notes can be organized with labels and located with different filters. Firefox only copies plain text without images. Cuts made from Safari show text or images and in occasions the source they were taken from. The selected cut is shown to the right when the mixed or thumbnail view is selected. In Evernote you can find a miniature for every cut. This application is available for Mac and Windows and allows you to cut any document on your computer or online resource and presents them in an arranged and classified way following different criteria. Evernote unites all the textual and graphical information that you're working with.
